A limited edition of 99 prints on handmade Vietnamese Do paper. Cutting artwork in a wood block to print, is a traditional handcraft I came a cross in Vietnam. I was inspired to combine the craft with my belief of empowering women and cut this design in a workshop held by the British Saigon based crafter Jack Clayton.
When an artwork is limited edition it means that it is only made in a certain amount. There will be no more of the same artwork made - ever. Which means the value of it is higher, than an artwork that can be reproduced forever without limit. This woodblock is printed in 99 pieces only. Each print is numbered and signed. There are both red and black ink available.
